A fashion designer who draws a little too often than necessary. That habit turned into a swatchbook
of printed fabrics – or as I call it, Printed Ideas – sort of.
You’re welcome to take a look, but don’t expect anything ground breaking. There’s nothing particularly special
in it – and maybe that’s the point. The reason I made this swatchbook (de-spite having no real experience
with fabric printing) is simple: I was missing a print I’d actually want to wear. My eyes are tired – overstimulated by all the loud and extroverted visuals around me. Lately, I’ve been struggling to focus my sight, so I made these prints intentionally blurry. Visual balance for the world around me… at least until I get glasses. The inspiration came from the ordinary and predictable: childhood pets, a garden I never had, my mom’s wardrobe I wasn’t allowed to touch... All the places my eyes have wandered to. Sometimes, the patterns don’t repeat perfectly. But I’m okay with that.
